The Gallery owns an
outstanding collection of some 300 paintings and 2000
drawings, including European (mainly Italian) Old Masters from
the 14th - 18th century. The collection of paintings includes
works by Tintoretto, Van Dyck and Frans Hals whist there are
drawings by Leonardo, Michelangelo, Dürer, Raphael and

the college in 1765, by a former student, General John Guise. More information about the works and current
